Day 01: Kathmandu
Take the flight for Kathmandu. Kathmandu is the capital city of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, the largest Himalayan state in Asia.
Upon arrival check in the hotel. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu
In the morning visit Kathmandu city, a city that looks likes a living museum.
You will visit the Durbar square, Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient royal residential quarter, Mahadev and Parvati temple, Machhender Bahl holy place for the Buddhists and Hindus, temple house of Kumari, the vestal virgin or the living goddess.
At the Pashupatinath Temple view the most sacred of Nepal’s Shiva shrines. You will be permitted to view the temple from the east bank of Bagmati River. Behind the temple are the cremation grounds.
Bodhnath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world built in 5th century. Bodhnath has all seeing eyes of Buddha and believed to be built by King Manadeva. The shrine is ringed by houses of Lamas or Buddhist priest.
Later visit Swaymbhunath stupa, a Buddhist shrine believed to be more than 2000 yrs old on the hillock of western part of Kathmandu.
Overnight in the Hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu
In the morning visit the second Sister City of the capital, Bhadgaon (Bhaktapur) “the City of Devotees”. You will visit Durbar Square with King Palace specially its golden gate and 55-Windows-Palace (15th century), the 5- story Nyatopala-Temple, the highest and probably the finest temple in Kathmandu Valley, built by King Bhupatindra. The 2-story Bhairabnath-Temple (18th century) as well as the Dattatraya Temple dedicated to God Vishnu and the Pujahari Math with its famous Peacock Window.
Later visit Patan also known as Lalitpur (City of Beauty and Fine Art). Patan is an ancient city filled with exotic pagodas, intricate gateways, fabulous deities, and endless carvings. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 04: Kathmandu
In the morning, transfer to Airport to board the flight for onward destination.
